Sample videos that are worth featuring
A sample on an application is a clue. A verified work on a profile is a gig this marketplace already paid for.
When a creator applies, the sample link is optional and unverified. It shows taste. It does not show that anyone was paid. Treat it as a portfolio clip from somewhere else.
A clip marked verified was tied to a completed gig. The creator owns the profile, the gig was theirs, and the file lives in their folder. That is a stronger sentence than 'here is a link'. Use those when you are choosing between two pitches that sound the same.
Do not ask applicants to pad the sample with work they did not make. The human-only rule applies to samples too. A borrowed viral video is not a sample. It is a reason to decline.
